Solar cell quotes likely to continue dropping

DIGITIMES [Monday 24 October 2011] - The traditional weak fourth quarter of the solar market is likely to push solar cell quotes further down this week. Quotes of solar cells last week was around US$0.55-0.58/watt, but this week is likely to drop to US$0.50-0.53/watt. Industry sources indicated that solar cell firms have been feeling the cringe from price drops and worry about how to weather the storm in the fourth quarter.
