Solar Power Solutions in 7 Steps
STEP 1 - FEASIBILITY:
- Feasibility analysis
- Preliminary proposal
- Signed Letter of Intent
- Assigned Project Manager
STEP 2 - FINANCING:
- Assessment of available incentives (tax credits, accelerated depreciation, solar rebates like Feed in Tariff)
- Evaluation of financing options, if needed (e.g. leases, Rooftop Leasing and Power Purchase Agreements PPA)
- Preparation of paperwork; filing for non-tax based incentives
STEP 3 - SITE PLANNING AND DESIGN:
- System Design
- Project planning (working with facilities personnel)
- In-depth engineering and logistical analysis including liaison with local power connection company
STEP 4 - ENGINEERING:
- Specification of system details
- Structural engineering, if required
- Final system design and contract
- Submission to the building and planning authorities
STEP 5 - PROCUREMENT AND INSTALLATION
- Procurement of materials
- Solar Panel Installation
- Inspection
- System commissioning and testing
STEP 6 - OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
- Training of facilities personnel (system monitoring)
- Administration and execution of all warranty coverage
- Field service and technical support, if required
STEP 7 – CAREFREE WARRANTY 20 YEARS OR MORE
- All systems are checked remotely via the included remote monitoring system
- SolarTotal technician on site within 48 hours and repair of the system within seven working days
- When system is not fully operational within this period SolarTotal will compensate for lost electricity production
- 20 year warranty on the inverters including all costs to replace the inverter(s) under warranty
- Direct replacement of components if damaged by fire, weather, theft etc.
